Mr. Macnee (the TV Avengers man) marries his real life Cathy
Patrick Macnee that debonair fellow who plays secret agent John Steed in The Avengers married a girl called Cathy yesterday .
Not of course Mrs Cathy Gale from the TV series - the black -leathered judo expert played by Honor Blackman-but 27year-old Catherine Woodville Mr. Macnce's bride is also an actress, and she has appeared in an " Avengers" episode-in the part of a girl who got killed.
Scene for the wedding was Hampstead register office in London.
The bride wore a bright blue hat and a beige coat with aspray of freeslas. Mr. Macnee sported a grev suit with a velvet collar and matching grey suede Chelsea boots.
The honeymoon will have an exotic touch of an "Avengers"setting-deep in the Tunisian desert, riding Arab horses.
